Today the Association of Gaming Professionals, the first ever international players association in E-Sports and in Quake Live, has launched.
The AGP will unite the players to expand and sustain the sport themselves through player legislation, international and regional rankings, and tournament sponsoring and sanctioning. The AGP is the next step in establishing Quake Live and first person shooters as a true professional sport.” said Jarod Reisin, President of VIDA. “The potential of a united players association is bigger than anything we have seen before in professional gaming.
