Quake Tutorial – Wall Push Part II ZTN
Here is another example of the wall push I was talking about previously on ZTN. You can see how you must clip the wall to gain speed and for it to push you along, if you can time it right and got enough run up beforehand you can do this with most walls and corners of any of your favourite maps you like playing on, it’s not just limited to ZTN for example, but watch the video and then from there you can hopefully learn the move yourself or begin to understand how to hit these corners to gain more momentum throughout the map without being restricted with predictable movement.
Here is the video to the 2nd wall push…
…I’ve explained before, if you’d like to see other version of the wall push on other maps for example then email me or leave a comment on which maps you’d like me to demonstrate it on and i’ll provide a few more further video tutorials on how I’m doing them, which hopefully you can learn from the video’s in which I’m doing these moves and perfect them yourself.

Thank you very much sir! good tut :) didnt know about this before i saw you doing it
Haha yeah I’m always looking for the best possible way to gain speed in my movement, as the Quake 3 / Quake Live movement is limited, not like that of Quake 4 where you weren’t so restricted, bring back the crouchslide. :)
can you do a a article on Spawn killing please.
because whenever i watch you or other pros play i always see them spamming a certain area in the hope the enemy spawns there.
i noticed if you kill someone in rocket room on ZTN and wait a few seconds then go thought the tele your enemy will likley spawn at GL and you can easily follow up.
TY
Yeah sure I’ll do something for that this evening, I think Id have tried preventing spawnkilling though with the latest updates I think, because now they’re not as frequent as they use to be, or people generally are playing smarter and preventing spawning in immediately to not get spawnkilled. But on ZTN there are a few key ones which I’ll go through soon.
